AI News Briefing & Detail Route System
A source-aware editorial workflow that turns AI infrastructure updates into original site content and internal news detail pages.
Overview
The site needed a way to cover fast-moving AI and compute updates without turning the News section into a list of outbound links or copied press releases.
Challenge
Brief updates need to remain useful after publication. Each item must make its source clear, provide original editorial context, work as a standalone page, and connect naturally to the rest of the site.
Approach
News is managed as a typed Markdown collection. Every brief has a publication date, topic tags, a source attribution, and a permanent internal route. The listing, homepage, and search experience all point readers to the same detail page.
Implementation
- Created a dedicated News collection with typed source metadata
- Added static internal detail routes for every news brief
- Kept source attribution visible as text without external destination links
- Added breadcrumbs and article structured data to each detail page
- Included news records in the site-wide search index and sitemap
Result
Readers can scan concise AI coverage, open a focused explanation, and continue discovering related work without leaving liqunnan.com. The publishing workflow remains static, reviewable, and easy to extend with new Markdown files.
